Crumbs! What a busy year it's been so far! I've been having a blast creating a stack of events for you, and have already enjoyed seeing lots of new faces in the studio as well as some seasoned pottery practitioners!
With the Great Pottery Throwdown on BBC2 nearing its conclusion, I've been inspired / cajouled into holding my own mini pottery throw down for one day only, so this Saturday (25th March) it's 'Have a Go on the Potter's Wheel' day, and I've got my colleague, Chris Marsh of Bridge Pottery coming down to help you throw a pot! It's a 10 minute drop in session with no age restrictions, it costs £5 to have a go on the wheel, and if you'd like your creation fired, a further £2.50. With the Teenage Market on as well, it's sure to be a fun day out!
If you've been tempted to have a go, but can't make it this Saturday, then why not book a two hour taster session at your own convenience? For further information, drop me an email, call me or visit my Facebook page. It's one of the many courses I currently offer, and they make great crafty experience presents if you're looking for something a little bit different to give!
Whatever you're looking for this year, I have something for everyone and I'm constantly researching and updating my diary to accommodate themed ideas for pottery painting (e.g. Beauty & the Beast, Dinosaurs, Shopkins, Paw Patrol, Trolls etc) as well as Clay Days for school holidays. New to Saz's Ceramics this Summer I'll be introducing Zentangle mindfulness workshops (for all ages and abilities), which is great for improving handwriting skills which also being therapeutic. I've been offering one day adult classes on the first Sunday in each month, in addition to running repeat twilight classes as they're become so popular!
My Facebook page has never been so useful, as it allows me to interact with customers, post lots of lovely photos and is linked to this website, so do please check it out @SazsCeramicsCrafts . In the meantime, I hope you have a smashing Easter and look forward to seeing you soon!
