February Half Term

Hard to believe that it's almost half term already! I'm only just getting into the groove of 2016! Spring cleaning, reorganising stock, preparing for future workshops and teaching lovely customers clay and pottery painting techniques.... it's all go!

So, if you are trying to work out what to do over half term, let me offer you a few suggestions:

Monday: Pre-booked clay courses. Pottery painting is available, but it's best to call ahead to let me know you're coming in.

Tuesday: May the Force be with you - a day of Star Wars themed crafts. During the course of the day you'll learn how to paint a canvas based on your favourite Star Wars character at 10am, make a clay BB8 droid at 11.30am, make a modroc mask at 1.30pm and design a wooden 'These are not the keys you're looking for' key rack at 3pm. *

Wednesday: Mum and me. You can come with your mum or nan, or on your own; it's all about having fun! During the course of the day you'll learn how to create a mixed media canvas at 10.00am, make a clay basket of flowers at 11.30am, paint a fabric bag at 1.30pm and design a special zentangle style Mother's Day card at 3pm.*

Thursday: Clay Day at 11am and 2pm. Learn how to make a fabulous photo frame to give your mum for Mother's Day. She'll love it! Booking necessary as places are limited. Child £7.50, adult £10

Friday: Oh brother, it's Snoopy! During the course of the day you'll learn how to create a canvas using wax crayons at 10am, make a clay Snoopy at 11.30am, design a Charlie Brown tea towel or Snoopy pump bag at 1.30pm and paint a glass or mug with Peanuts characters. *

Saturday: Drop in for pottery painting. Choose from our extensive range of bisque items. Prices start from £5pp.

Sunday: Introduction to Pottery Skills course for adults. Please call me for further information or look at my previous blog entry for details.

* Each activity is £7.50 per child, £10 per adult, or take advantage of our all day discount at £25 per child, £30 per adult. Bring your packed lunch or treat yourself in the Coffee House next door. Pre-booking advisable.

Right, I'd better crack on with making some samples then, eh?! See you soon!
